Responsibility for managing matters related to academic quality and evaluation in the Department of Philology lies with the Internal Evaluation Group (OMEA). The OMEA consists of faculty members of the Department and is appointed annually by the Department’s General Assembly.

The Undergraduate Study Programme (USP) of the Department of Philology underwent an accreditation process in December 2018 conducted by a committee of experts appointed by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (ADIP). The USP of our Department was the first undergraduate programme at the University of Patras and the first Philology undergraduate programme in Greece to receive certification with full compliance with the requirements of ADIP for the period from 18/1/2019 to 17/1/2023.
