The Secretariat of the Department of Philology is housed in a standalone building on the University Campus (K17) and constitutes the administrative core of the Department’s operation. It is responsible for the overall administrative support of the Department’s functions, including:

• maintaining the records of undergraduate and postgraduate students
• registering newly admitted students
• handling student requests
• providing secretarial support to the Department’s governing bodies, especially the General Assembly
• providing administrative support for the educational process at all stages of its implementation (class schedules, classroom management, organization of courses and examinations, awarding of degrees, etc.)
• handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
• providing administrative support to faculty members and other teaching staff
• maintaining the Department’s General Archive
• providing general information regarding studies at the Department of Philology
